Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was a popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the most wealthy and most affluent. In the classic cult movie Shottas he starred opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was With Father Like Son. He recorded a variety of singles such as Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts), How Does The Cap Go Remix, and Sensimelia. The majority of them helped contribute to Ky's growing popularity among the new generation of reggae artists. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell from Fugees in the song Avenue in 1997. It proved to be a massively successful cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley performed for the first time at Midem which is an international festival of music held in Miami.
